More love for felt

Wed Jan 23, 2008, 8:56 PM
I've found myself playing around more and more with felt lately and discovering that you can make some really fun pieces with it. It has a versatility that seemed to be invisible to me before; it's easily cut, sewn, and stuffed. It can be applied to a flat surface, or shaped to be a cuddly toy. No longer is it the childhood craft material of frustration, which pulled apart and fuzzed and stuck to the glue on your hands.

Drawing, photography, cartooning, sculpting, painting, carving, crafting - I love them all. Native art is my greatest passion though.

I like to be still and notice the small things. The tiny quiet creatures that can't speak tell me many things.
