Artist's Comments

I am part Native (Cree) and did this painting in a style traditional to my culture. The Elk symbolizes our connectedness with both the Earth and the Sun which provide us life.

18"x24", Acrylic on Mahogany plywood

sleep well sweet darling, and wake to fight another day. A losing battle with eternity. Another sin filled day of longing for perfection, waiting for death's loving kiss.
